We are continuing to seek ways to stay active this week in addition to our regular habits. Even adding a short walk around the block helps! Keep your body busy so it can rest and a rested mind can stay sharp! We can also devote this active healthiness to our spirit through our faith!

CONTINUING OUR HABITS 4-24-2020

Last week we talked about challenging yourself to do something different to add to your exercise routine! I certainly hope you were able to incorporate that into your habit - change is good! This week we are talking about rest. Adding a rest day to our habits is essential to our growth. Do not feel guilty about that - it is healthy! Matthew 11:28 says,

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

This week we are going to challenge ourselves to step out and do something new with our exercise habits! Get out of your comfort zone, be safe (within our social restrictions), but experience something new! As 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 says, “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” Challenge yourself to strengthen your body, mind, and spirit!

C-Sports with Rose Farnell | Devotion by Kennedy Horn | 4-15-2020

Kennedy Horn grew up playing C-Sports and then came back to coach for several years. She has carried her devotion to her sport and her faith to the college level. She is currently a sophomore at The University of William Carey and is a scholarship athlete who plays on both the indoor and beach volleyball teams. She has been blessed by what she has learned through C-Sports and is sharing that love with you through Matt 18:20.
