about c-sports

Founded in 2004, Christ United Church Recreation Ministry created C-Sports as a year-round sports league designed to provide children with a safe, positive, and encouraging environment to learn and enjoy athletics. From the beginning, it became clear there was a strong need in the community for sports programs that focused not only on competition, but also on teaching, character, and fun.

The mission of C-Sports is to provide Christ-centered sports experiences that promote character development, self-esteem, skill growth, and spiritual encouragement for children and families within our church and community. While we strive to teach game skills, strategy, rules, and sportsmanship, our greater purpose is to model competition in a Christ-like way, encouraging players to do their best while showing respect to coaches, officials, teammates, and opponents.

C-Sports is a developmental league, meaning our focus is on learning and growth rather than simply winning games. Our rules and structure are intentionally designed to give every child the opportunity to develop skills, build confidence, increase understanding of the sport, and experience the joy of being part of a team in a safe and supportive environment.
