Player Game Rotations (PGRs):

PGRs are one of the most important tools our coaches are given to assure that our league focuses on equal playing time.  We are a DEVELOPMENTAL LEAGUE where our focus is on developing every player and giving every player EQUAL playing time and game starts.  Focusing on placing players in certain positions in order to win a game will not be your priority.  Using a PGR will make this irrelevant because your PGR tells you which players will play which positions and when.  Because our focus is on developing the player and not the win/loss records and standings, we are not like regular park leagues where they keep league standings, records and have playoffs for league champions, therefore, eliminating the need to play only the “best” players.

There are PGRs designed for the certain number of players on a team.  Each game frame has been balanced for the specific number of players on a team for three reasons:

  1. Players can receive equal playing time

  2. Players can start the same number of games

  3. Each player is able to play with each of their team mates

All teams must use the age league appropriate PGRs. How to use the PGRs will be explained in detail during the coaches roster meeting and examples will be in the manual.
