Facilities guidelines

Christ United is proud to offer several different ways for you to meet your fitness goals. We offer a walking track, fitness room, recreational activities, and fitness classes. 

participation

In order to participate in any program, all guests and church members must register in person at the recreation desk by completing a registration card (one time) and logging in to log book at each visit. Use of the fitness room requires a one-time orientation prior to use (see more info below).

walking track

The walking track is located on the second floor and overlooks the gym. It has a textured rubberized surface with a center line for runners (outside lane) & walkers (inside lane) to enjoy. Track users are encouraged to go in one direction. 12 laps equals 1 mile.

Fitness Room

The fitness room provides multiple aerobic machines, resistance machines and equipment, as well as free weights for a wide range of full body workout options. Participants must complete the Fitness Room Orientation Class offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday at 5:30 p.m. Please keep in mind, you MUST attend this class before using the Fitness Room.

fitness Programs

Fitness classes are instructor led and are held in the gym, fitness room, or the classrooms located on the 2nd floor. Class participants must sign in on the particular fitness program log book located at the recreation desk. Some fitness programs are free and some have fees. For more information on the Rec Min’s fitness programming, click on the links below:
